Hello Everyone,
Thanks to all those who came out to the 11th Annual - 2011 Victoria Westie Walk and supported us (WHWT Club of WC) to raise awareness and support for Westie Rescue of Canada. We were pleased to raise $200.00 at this years’ event and knowing that it will go to excellent use makes it all the better.
The WHWT Club of WC has offered a FREE download of The Westie Wag, their premier issue.
We also invite you to support our local Sponsors who graciously provided gifts for our draw. Our pictorial slideshow below includes all those happy people who won.
While you are at it take a look also at our Piper’s Procession video down into the park marking the start of our festivities. The pups know their heritage and it always seems to get them excited. As you’ll see the weather cooperated and we didn’t need our umbrellas. Also the dogs had a ball running freely amongst their friends from last year and making fast friends with the newcomers.
We hope you’ll plan to attend our 2012 event and that you’ll invite a another Westie friend to expand the success we had this year. Maybe you could even post a notice at your local pet supply store next year as we get closer to the walk.
